fine art prints have begun to come into their own in recent years
as master print makers have taken print workshops to the aboriginal
artists in the communities, guiding artists through the technically
demanding process and techniques of printmaking. The results are prints
which only Aboriginal artists could have produced using their proprietary
designs to approach the medium of prints in fresh and exciting ways,
producing prints which although they are works on paper are often
as compelling as Aboriginal acrylic paintings. |
