Behind every great man can be found a great woman. Paddy and Bessie Sims are pillars of the community, they've raised six children and now have numerous grandchildren and even great grandchildren. Bessie is a dignified, serious minded woman who is also an excellent painter. She often has a wry smile on her face as if amused by what's going on around her.

Her husband Paddy Sims is one of the last men of his generation still actively painting, as well as upholding the law and traditional values. His personal charisma and strength of character are evident in his bearing; he chose to invite us out to his country and share his stories and places with us. He is proud of his land and an ambassador for his culture. "Yeah, good country that one," he'd say with a smile, "my country!"
