During our journey out bush Paddy will be demonstrating and explaining how his Dreamings about the stars in the night connect him to the places he camped as a young man, how they connect him to other people, how they connect him to the natural cycles as the Dreaming is a complete philosophical system ordering the universe and presenting a template for the traditional Aboriginal way of life.

All of this comes from the Dreamtime or Aboriginal equivalent of Genesis the creational epoch when the world came into being before rules which govern both the natural order and human cultural were established. After the Dreamtime was over Dreamings (individual creation mythologies) were left behind along with the songs, dances and designs used to reenact them in ceremony keeping both human culture and the natural cycles on their proper course. Paddy's connection to the stars through his Dreamings is deeply felt.
